George@Work

=sleepie time

Ok now I'm tired

Moving vehicles make me sleepy

Holding on for dear life

Oh crap

The car is moving! Eek!

Wait? Where's my bag to sit in?

And why does she keep yelling at me to sit down?

This is way bigger than the dog run

If only she would let me off leash...

George the airplane

Check out how his hind legs are perpendicular when he's laying down and
chewing his bully stick

I'm. So. Pooped.

...Victoria

Who is her sister? Not sure because at that point I just really needed to pee.

Heehee

I made her laugh! Girls are so easy like that!

All look same

This is Emily....who kinda looks like...

I really should charge money for this

Viv's cousins taking pictures with me after lunch today

Why are there pictures on the ground?

Canadians sure are weird

How's a Canadian Starbucks different?

I still have to wait outside anyway. That's Viv's daddy.

Taking my first steps in Canada

I have arrived!

Right outside baggage claim at Vancouver International Airport

And here's his carry-on

Gingham is totally manly ;)

George's packing containers are from muji, in case you're wondering

Traveling, George style

This is what George's check in baggage looks like

What you can't see...

George and I waiting outside for takeout. What you can't see is that he has his butt slightly lifted off the ground to avoid touching the wet ground ;)

Little dog, big shadow

From our walk earlier today...

Not labouring on Labour Day

But instead, passing out on viv's lap while she's labouring

Where's George?

On our walk tonight...

Can I have some of your latte?

I'm thirsty

The 4 Steps of Street Encounters

Every time George encounters a dog (or two) on the street, he engages in the play-bow pose which invariably causes the other owner to go "awwwhhhh" and the other dog to slow down and give George the time of day. I decided to capture the process this morning...

As soon as he spots another dog, even all the way down the street, he gets into "down" position.

As the dog gets closer, George crouches down and gets into full "play-bow" mode.

Alas, the other dog is within range!

Successful engage! And there was even more than one dog this time! And that's how it's done. Now wash, rinse, and repeat, about 6-8 times per walk. We *do* live in Chelsea after all.
